10/4/02: Tiss plans for the future

Matthew Le Tissier has serious plans for his first year out of football. He's going to take things seriously easy, with no thought of entering management. "Management is not something that interests me - they do far too many hours for a start!

"I am going to enjoy life, and not worry about organising my golf schedule and social life around the fixture list.

"It has been a gradual decline into retirement over the last few years. I have not played a great deal, and it has been very frustrating.

"I won't have that frustration next year, I will be able to sit and watch games, relax and give my body a bit of time to recover."
