Teenager Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was tipped for the top after he came off the bench to give Southampton victory against Oldham. The 17-year-old - son of former England winger Mark Chamberlain - won it when he capped a solo run with a low shot across Oldham keeper Dean Brill. Saints boss Nigel Adkins said: "Alex is a massive talent, he's got great confidence, great ability and a great future. "We have to allow him space to fulfil that and we also have to allow him to make the odd mistake because that's part of the learning process. But it was a fantastic winner he scored."
