The financial figures for the year ending May 2004 have been released, showing the club making a "healthy" £8.4 million operating profit. The figures are up in most areas, with the only decreases in earnings put down to the lack of a cup run compared to the FA cup almost-glory of the previous year.
The ground operates at a 95% capacity according to the chairman's report, with an average attendance of 31,717 - up by over 1,000 on the previous year's figure. Other figures remain pretty much the same, and become startling only when compared to the financial results of years before Lowe's arrival, when the club were limited by the capacity of The Dell.
