Davis, in goal for Saints when they secured a Premier League return last weekend, has been named as the winner of the Football League Precision Goalkeeping Golden Glove Award for March.
Davis kept four clean sheets from seven in that month as Saints picked up 16 points.
On receiving the Precision Goalkeeping Golden Glove award for the first time, Davis said: “To keep any number of clean sheets in the Championship is something to be proud of, but to do so at that stage of the season was especially pleasing.
"Clean sheets are very much a team effort, and we work very hard on our defence as a team.”
The Precision Goalkeeping Golden Glove award will be presented each month to the Football League goalkeeper that has kept the most clean sheets in all competitions from data supplied by the Press Association.
There will also be an annual award in the Championship, League 1 and League 2 for the keeper that has kept the most clean sheets throughout the season in all competitions.
