"He will be back in England in 30 days and he is looking forward to showing everyone what a good player he is."
Saints will be keeping tabs on the striker during his rehabilitation. Physio Jim Joyce, told the Daily Echo: "Tino saw a surgeon who carried out a second arthroscopy. As we expected he removed a small piece of cartilage.
"He will now continue his rehabilitation work and we expect him back on March 18 when we will reassess him and his level of fitness.
"We are receiving updates twice a week from the Ecuadorian medical staff, and we are hoping he will be close to being able to resuming training when he arrives back here. Then he will have to build up match fitness."
