Gray doesn't want Villa hotseat.

Perhaps it's due to the terrible record he had as Saints boss, or perhaps he realises he's on a hiding to nothing being a manager under Doug Ellis. Whatever the reason Stuart Gray has said that he won't be putting his name into the hat for the Villa job after John Gregory's sudden departure.. That's a shame as I'm sure he would have got them relegated and that would be one less bottom three place for Southampton to worry about avoiding.
Gray said: "Having lost my job at Southampton I am very grateful to John Gregory for giving me the opportunity to get back into the game and in the immediate future I will just concentrate upon the coaching side of the game.
"Both John Deehan (assistant manager) and myself will have to sit down with the chairman after the Everton game and see where we go from there. But we are both under contract."
