The Cherries currently sit in the second automatic promotion spot, five points ahead of Saints who have two games in hand on their south-coast rivals.
"The way they are performing and keep on winning it's all credit to them with the squad they've got and the togetherness they've shown," said Lallana.
"But we've still got to play them down there. We've got games in hand on them so we won't look at the table until the end of the season.
"We've got 18 games to go now and if we win every game we will get promoted."
