Lucrative future for Le Tissier

Matthew Le Tissier has been offered a promotional role within the club when he retires next month. Along with his Media work it looks as though we'll still be seeing quite a bit of Le God, which is great news for the fans who hold him in such high regard. In addition his testimonial match is now a sell-out, a full tow weeks ahead of the game. This will earn the player around £1 million.
Le Tissier said: ''This is fantastic news. I never expected the match to be sold out, least of all two weeks before the match itself.
''I have loved every minute of being a Saints player although the last couple of years were disappointing because of all my injuries.
''But the fans have always been tremendous to me and for them to turn out in such great numbers for my testimonial is wonderful,"
