"When you get your nose in front you expect to go on and win the game, but to be fair we were fortunate to get in front because Norwich were playing well at that time."
On the goal that won the game for Norwich, he said: "Kasey Keller pulled off a great save to deny Francis, then it was up to the players to defend the corner and they didn't do the job.
"In the last half hour of the game we had plenty of possession but our final ball was not good enough."
When asked if the result would increase the pressure on him, he said: "It will come after a result like this, but it is the first defeat in five.
"We have kick-started Norwich's season and that is not something I wanted to do as much I like Nigel (Worthington)."
