With Paul Jones being undoubtedly the number one at the the club, Neil Moss is having to think hard about remaining at Southampton. Although Moss has undoubtedly improved he has never had a chance to show what he can do over a prolonged spell. As such there must be doubts over whether he would be good enough. At Neil's age he would surely want to have a fair bit of first team experience behind him. Therefore he will have a big decision to make over the summer. Neil said: Moss on his future "I have really enjoyed it at Southampton and I am not keen to leave but I have to consider what is best for me.
"Paul Jones is a top class keeper and it is hard to get in the team ahead of him. But I do not feel I have let the club down when I have stood in for him.
"I feel I can play in the Premiership but there is no point in staying in the long term if all I am ever going to do is be on the bench.
"It is a hard decision to make because Saints are a great club and the team has been doing well. I will have to think about what to do for the best."
