The Saints striker is carrying a niggling groin injury that he aggravated while away on international duty in April but he appears to have done enough in training over the past week or so for Latvian coach Aleksandrs Starkovs to include him in his squad for the finals which begin in Portugal on June 12th.
Latvia have a home friendly against Azerbaijan on June 6th before they travel to Portugal where they are in Group D along with Germany, Holland and Czech Republic.
