Pardew said: "There may be 12-16,000 fans who don't see us every week, so we need to draw them in and draw them back. Winning this would go some way towards doing that.
"For the chairman Nicola Cortese and the fans who have been absolutely sensational in their support while we've had tricky times, I hope that we turn up and play our best football because the support we've had has been brilliant."

The Saints, contesting their first Johnstone's Paint Trophy final, will be returning to Wembley for the first time in 18 years.
The Saints, edged out 1-0 by Arsenal in the FA Cup final in 2003 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, were beaten 3-2 by Nottingham Forest in the old Zenith Data Systems Cup final at Wembley in 1992.
Carlisle, who beat Leeds 6-5 on penalties in their two-legged Northern Area final, are one of the competition's most successful sides and on Sunday will be contesting their fifth final in 15 years.
The Cumbrians' only triumph was a 4-3 penalty shoot-out win over Colchester in 1997, while they have lost in three previous finals - 1-0 against Birmingham in 1995, 2-0 to Bristol City in 2003 and 2-1 against Swansea in 2006.
