"I must give praise to Martin Allen. He is a good young manager and I think at some point he will get the chance to manage one of the top clubs," Redknapp said after the 3-1 win.
"It was a hard game as I expected on a very tough pitch. It was a typical FA Cup tie atmosphere and in the end I was just pleased to survive it.
"At half-time we said to ourselves that we'd just have to try and keep the ball better and in the second half we did that, I thought we played very well.
"I took a bit of a gamble and left six players out of my side. I almost left Crouch out as well but in the end I decided to leave Camara on the bench. I thought our front two did very well.
