Redknapp Rues Missed Chances

"We missed some gilt-edged chances. You were just waiting for the net to bulge," the Saints boss said after the 0-0 draw at The Hawthorns.

"But overall I was pleased with the way that we played. The shape of the team was good.

"It was important that we did not lose as we did not want to find ourselves on the bottom of the table.

"If we can keep performing like this then we will have a chance of getting out of this position. I have seen a massive improvement since bringing some new players in last month.

"It is going to be tight but there is all to play for between now and the end of the season.

"We do need to get a win away from home and I will be disappointed if we do not do that this season.

"There is still a lot to play for and if I can keep this team fit we will be right in there."
