Brazilian midfielder Guly Do Prado and back-up goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski returned from hamstring and knee injuries respectively to take their place among the substitutes for the 2-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and remain in the squad.
Oscar Gobern will sit out the second game of a two-match ban following his straight red card at Bournemouth, while fellow midfielders Morgan Schneiderlin and Lee Holmes and striker David Connolly remain sidelined.
Schneiderlin misses out with a knee injury, meaning the club's only two fit central midfielders, Richard Chaplow and Dean Hammond, will continue.
Winger Lee Holmes is still struggling with an ongoing knee problem, which has hindered his season, while veteran striker Connolly still has a groin problem.
The Saints could move into the second automatic promotion place with a win.
