Rumour Mill - Hassli and Healy

Eric Hassli will be at Southampton on a week's trial. The 20 year old Metz midfielder snubbed Bolton to join us. Terry Cooper said: "I think he could have a big future. He is 6ft 2ins and a natural targetman but he can also play a bit and has the ability to go as far as he wants in the game.

"I recommended him to Saints a year ago but they were unable to act on the tip at the time, but he is available again and I am glad the club will be taking a proper look at him."

Saints are supposedly following the progress of Colin Healy. The young Celtic striker has impressed in Scotland and is currently on loan at Coventry. The links ere are presumably Coventry/Strachan and the fact we've very few fit strikers. We'll effectively have a new striker in Delgado when he's fit so I don't give this gossip much credence.
